"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" (Japanese: ジョジョの奇妙な冒険, JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken) is a shōnen manga series by Japanese manga artist Hirohiko Araki. Abbreviated as JoJo, it was serialized from 1987 to 2004 in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine "Weekly Shōnen Jump" for Parts 1 through 6, and since 2005, it has been serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine "Ultra Jump." Currently, it is serialized up to Part 9, with numerous spin-offs. The story depicts the century-long battle between the British noble Joestar family (JoJo) and the vampire Dio (DIO) and his successors. The entire series is themed around "a celebration of humanity," featuring classic elements of shōnen manga such as bonds between comrades and battles against formidable enemies, all set within a uniquely bizarre world created by its distinctive art style and presentation. The tankōbon volumes have been published up to Volume 131, making it one of the longest-running series in terms of volume count within Shueisha. In Taiwan, during a period without official licensing, Tong Li Publishing translated it as "Strongman Front" (also translated as "Adventure in the Devil's Domain"), and later Da Ran Publishing obtained authorization and translated it as "JoJo's Adventurous Guys." Eventually, Tong Li Publishing acquired the rights and reverted the title to "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," matching the Japanese title.
